1) File 2020-7507: A local resident was reported to have fallen victim to a computer scam where someone claiming to be from Microsoft Technical Support stole over a thousand dollars on August 2nd.

2) File 2020- 800039: A vehicle was reported keyed in the 3400 block of Lions Blvd, Qualicum Beach, on August 3rd.

3) File 2020-7559: A pair of binoculars valued at $100 and some McDonalds coffee cards were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Birch Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on August 3rd. There was no damage to vehicle.

4) File 2020-7583: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Memorial Avenue and Rupert Road East, Qualicum Beach, on August 4th.

5) File 2020-7600: Two unlocked vehicles were reported rummaged through in the 100 block of Village Way, Qualicum Beach, on August 4th. Nothing reported stolen or missing.

6) File 2020-7619: An attempted theft of downriggers was reported in the 700 block of Barclay Crescent South, Parksville, on August 5th.

7) File 2020-7620: A business break-and-enter was reported in the 900 block of Chatsworth Road, Qualicum Beach, on, August 5th. A chain gate lock was cut and items such as 10 lb fire extinguishers as well as fuel was reported stolen.

8) File 2020-7622: A vehicle was reported vandalized with paint in the 400 block of Cypress Road, Qualicum Beach, on August 5th.

9) File 2020-7628: A pink coloured bicycle was reported stolen in the 300 block of Island Highway West, Parkville, on August 5th.

10) File 2020-7633: Two fishing rods and two reels were reported stolen from a boat moored in the 100 block of Burne Road, Bowser, on August 5th.

11) File 2020-7675: A “Lifetime” brand cooler and contents were reported stolen in the 700 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on August 6th.

12) File 2020-7676: Over a hundred dollars of candy were reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on August 6th.

13) File 2020-7700: A blue/grey coloured CCM 28” 18 speed bicycle was recovered in the area of Yellowbrick Road and Arrowsmith Way, Parksville, on August 6th. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

14) File 2020-7701: A repainted 28” 18 speed bicycle was recovered in the area of Wright Road and Wembley Road, Parksville, on August 6th. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

15) File 2020-7725: A vehicle tire was reported slashed in the 100 block of Meridian Way, Parksville, on August 7th.

16) File 2020-7726: Business signs were reported stolen in the 1800 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs, on August 7th.

17) File 2020-7733: A vehicle was reported egged on two separate occasions in the 100 block of Moss Avenue, Parksville, on August 7th.

18) File 2020-7738: A gas pump was reported damaged by a motor bike rider seen on video in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on August 7th.

19) File 2020-7783: A blue/orange colour Giant brand Trance 21 speed bicycle was reported stolen in the area of Island Highway West and Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on August 8th.
