During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 234 complaints.

1) File 2022-464: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Alberni Highway and Mclean Road, Qualicum Beach, on January 17. Estimated damage $1,200.

2) File 2022-466: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on January 17.

3) File 2022-469: Binoculars, keys and a thermos were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Duggan Lane, Parksville, on January 17.

4) File 2022-479: A vehicle was reported vandalized and a battery stolen in the 1100 block of Smithers Road, Parksville, on January 17.

5) File 2022-495: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle at the pull-out on Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on January 17.

6) File 2022-503: An attempted theft of a catalytic converter was reported in the area of Virginia Road and Alberni highway, Parksville, on January 18. 

7) File 2022-509: BC plate RA173F was reported stolen form a vehicle in the 1800 block of Alberni Highway, Coombs, on January 18.

8) File 2022-512: An unknown amount of money was reported stolen from commercial washing machines in the 2700 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on January 18.

9) File 2022-516: BC plate D71208 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Shearme Road, Coombs, on January 18.

10) File 2022-520: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 2200 block of Errington Road, Errington, on January 18.

11) File 2022-530: A 3 HP mercury out-board motor, power tools, fishing lures and frozen food were reported stolen from a property in the 500 block of Sandlewood Drive, Parksville, on January 18.

12) File 2022-536: A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 900 block of Fairdown Road, Parksville, on January 18. The driver side window was noted broken.

13) File 2022-541: A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 3500 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on January 19. Damage noted to driver’s door.

14) File 2022-543: A prowler was reported in the 6000 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on January 19. 

15) File 2022-545: Contents of a courier package was reported stolen in the 600 block of Wembley Road, Parksville on January 19.

16) File 2022-8000011: BC plate MN129M was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Weld Street, Parksville, on January 19.

17) File 2022-553: Contents of a storage locker were reported stolen in the 1700 block of Spirit Way, Qualicum Beach, on January 19. Fourteen bags of sport jerseys, shoes, work boots and clothes were noted missing.

18) File 2022-565: A small fire was reported outside of a building in the 200 block of Hirst Avenue, Parksville, on January 20. There was no damage to the building noted.

19) File 2022-582: A property was reported vandalized with a flower pot knocked over and a pest control trap set on fire in the 100 block of Island Highway East, Parksville on January 20.

20) File 2022-603: BC plate LW341R was reported stolen from a vehicle in the are of Alberni Highway and Bellevue Road, Parksville, on January 21.

21) File 2022-618: A red Apple iPhone was found in the area of the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre, on January 21. Please contact Oceanside RCMP during regular busies hours to claim.

22) File 2022-619: An Ozonator, a device used to sanitize rooms valued at $350, was reported stolen from a property in the 100 block of Beachside Drive, Parksville, on January 21.

23) File 2022-649: A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 100 block of Island Highway East, Parksville on January 22.

24) File 2022-664: A house was reported egged in the 500 block of Hazelwood Place, Qualicum Beach, on January 22.
