Crime Watch Report - January 3 to January 9, 2021

DetectiveDuring this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 212 complaints.

1) File 2021-65: Cash and credit cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Marsh Place, Parksville, on January 3rd.

2) File 2021-77: Cash was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Eagle Park Terrace, Parksville, on January 3rd.

3) File 2021-82: A hunting knife and cash were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Ponderosa Drive, Parksville, on January 4th.

4) File 2021-94: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 400 block of Stanford Avenue East, Parksville, on January 4th.

5) File 2021-96: A Champion 6500 Watt generator was reported stolen from the 1900 block of Errington Road, Errington, on January 4th.

6) File 2021-95: A resident report resulted in the recovery of a stolen vehicle in the 3700 block of Alberni Highway, Whiskey Creek, on January 4th. Two suspects were arrested.

7) File 2021-104: A white hover board was found in the area of Renz Road and Hirst Avenue, Parksville, on January 4. Please contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

8) File 2021-105: A commercial building was reported vandalized in the 100 block of Morison Avenue, Parksville, on January 4th.

9) File 2021-128: Fuel was reported stolen from contracting equipment in the area of Chattlell Road, Nanoose Bay, on January 5th.

10) File 2021-149: A damaged fence, a car battery and two excavator batteries were reported stolen during a business break-and-enter in the 3800 block of Alberni Highway, Qualicum Beach, on January 5th.

11) File 2021-155: A wallet including contents were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Aberdeen Drive, Parksville, on January 6th.

12) File 2021-156: A Makita compressor, a Makita table saw and other tools valued at $6,000 were reported stolen from a storage trailer in the 800 block of Claymore Road, Qualicum Beach, on January 6th.

13) File 2021-157: an unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 800 block of Field Crescent, Parksville, on January 6th.

14) File 2021-158: A Christmas display was reported vandalized in the 1000 block of Resort Drive, Parksville, on January 6th.

15) File 2021-172: Fiber cables were reported cut and the box containing the cables damaged in Qualicum Beach, on January 6th.

16) File 2021-180: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 900 block of Fairdowne Road, Parksville, on January 6th.

17) File 2021-194: Christmas lights were reported vandalized in the community park located in the 700 block of Primrose Street, Qualicum Beach, on January 7th.

18) File 2021-196: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 1000 block of Forgotten Drive, Parksville, on January 7th.

19) File 2021-202: Two potted Cyprus trees were reported stolen from a property in the 100 block of Yellowbrick Road, Parksville, on January 7th.

20) File 2021-204: Christmas lights were reported stolen from an office building in the 1100 block of Resort Drive, Parksville, on January 7th.

21) File 2021-239: A red CCM mountain bike was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Smithers Road, Parksville, on January 8th.

22) File 2021-248: Shipping pallets were reported stolen from a business in the 100 block of Second Avenue East, Qualicum Beach, on January 8th.

23) File 2021-260: Two bags of refundable recyclables were reports stolen in the 400 block of Temple Street, Parksville, on January 9th.

24) File 2021-270: A 20 lb propane cylinder was reported stolen from a business compound in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on January 9th.
