Crime Watch Report - March 21 to March 27, 2021

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 269 complaints.  

1) File 2021-2716: BC plates CB2563 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Islewood Drive, Bowser, on March 21st. 

2) File 2021-2720: A prowler was reported looking into vehicles in the 200 block of Dunbar Way, Parksville, on March 21st.

3) File 2021-2724: An outdoor heater and propane tank were reported stolen in the 2700 block of Andys Lane, Nanoose Bay, on March 22nd.

4) File 2021-2726: Two unlocked vehicles were reported rummaged through in the 100 block of Denman Drive, Qualicum Beach, on March 22nd.

5) File 2021-2738: A break-and-enter of a travel trailer was reported in the 1100 block of Ruffles Road, Parksville, on March 22nd. There was damage noted to the door.

6) File 2021-2767: A Samsung tablet was found in the area of Fern Road and Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on March 23rd. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

7) File 2021-2805: An iPad and liquor were reported stolen in a business break-and-enter in the 500 block of Lowrys Road, Parksville, on March 24th.

8) File 2021-800046: The break-and-enter of a utility trailer was reported in the 200 block of Corfield Street North, Parksville, on March 24th. The interior was ransacked however nothing was noted missing.

9) File 2021-2832: Four snow tires and steel rims were reported stolen in the 2000 block of Grafton Avenue, Coombs, on March 25th.

10) File 2021-2833: BC plate 013NBN was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Garden Road West, Qualicum Beach, on March 25th.

11) File 2021-2845: A break-and-enter of a utility trailer was reported in the 400 block of Island highway East, Parksville, on March 25th. Three laptops and two metal detectors were some of the items noted missing.

12) File 2021-2870: A vehicle door handle was reported vandalized in the 3200 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on March 26th.

13) File 2021-2874: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 100 block of Cameron Lake, Cathedral Grove, on March 26th. A solar inverter and a blue wakeboard were some of the items noted missing.

14) File 2021-2910: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 100 block of Cameron Lake, Cathedral Grove, on March 27th. A hot water tank and a 1000w Motormaster inverter were some of the items missing.

15) File 2021-2933: Prowlers were reported in the 500 block of Grovehill road, Qualicum Beach, on March 27th.
