1) 2016-6365 On July 16th, a mischief to a business was reported to have occurred in the 100 block of Island Highway East in Parksville. The complainant arrived at the business and observed that a front window had been smashed but not all the way through. No entry was gained into the premises.

1) 2016-6250 On July 13th, a theft from vehicle was reported to have occurred in the 200 block of Lodgepole Drive in Parksville. The complainant advised that culprits entered the unlocked vehicle and rummaged through the centre console and glovebox. Fortunately nothing was stolen.

1) 2016-5988 On July 5th, a theft from vehicles was reported to have occurred in an underground parkade in the 100 block of Beachside Drive in Parksville. The complainant advised that at 1:45 am, a male was observed entering the underground parkade and entered two unlocked vehicles. A Canon EOS Rebel XST camera with a strap and a 75 to 100 mm lens was stolen from one of the vehicles.

1) 2016-5913 On July 3rd, a theft from vehicle was reported to have occurred in the 1000 block of Herring Gull Way in Parksville. The complainant advised that his cell phone and wallet actually went missing around June 29th however he just discovered it this date. When cancelling his credit card it was discovered that the culprits had used it in several places.

1) 2016-5755 On June 29th a theft was reported to have occurred in the 2700 block of Alberni Highway in Qualicum Beach. The complainant advised that a metal 8’6” support post was stolen from his residence currently under renovation. The post was being used as support for a huge beam inside the residence.

1) 2016-5610 On June 25th, a theft from business was reported to have occurred in the 100 block of Island Highway East in Parksville. The complainant advised that upon review of video surveillance he discovered a theft from his store occurred on June 6th.

1) 2016-5442 On June 20th, a theft was reported to have occurred in the 3600 block of Alberni Highway in Parksville. The complainant advised that a shipment of potato chips valued at approximately $650.00, was stolen from a portable warehouse container. The unit had been recently moved from Nanaimo to Parksville and the complainant discovered that product missing on the morning of June 20th.

1) 2016-5326 On June 17th, a theft from vehicle was reported to have occurred in the 700 block of Nanoose Avenue in Parksville. The complainant advised that during the early morning hours culprits entered her unlocked vehicle and stole a blue duffle bag with white lettering spelling out,’ Set BC’, on it. Also stolen was a back pack and grey IPad.

1) 2016-5231 On June 14th, a theft from vehicle was reported to have occurred in the 3800 block of Charlton Drive in Qualicum Beach. The complainant advised that during the early morning hours culprits entered her unlocked vehicle and stole an IPad, calculator, cologne and some change.

1) 2016-5079 On June 10th, two break, enter and thefts were reported to have occurred in the 400 and 500 blocks of Ridgefield Road in Parksville. The complainant advised that two brand new homes that he was constructing and at the lock up stage, were entered sometime during the early morning hours. The residence in the 500 block had a broken window and culprits pried open the rear door allowing entry. Once inside the thieves stole 21 boxes of Branson coloured Old Mill Shiner wood, valued at $5600.00. The residence in the 400 block also had the rear door pried open however nothing was stolen from inside. The complainant advised that there was approximately $4100.00 damage to both premises.
