During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 235 complaints.

1) File 2019-1987: On March 5th the City of Parksville reported a mischief had occurred overnight at the Parksville Community Park with an oak tree cut down overnight. Replacement value of the 20 year old tree is over $3,500. The investigation is continuing.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 211 complaints.

1) File 2019-1772: On February 26th, a resident reported damage to a mail box located in the 200 block of Polegate Road, Qualicum Beach. Access was not gained with damage reported to Canada Post.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 247 complaints.

1) File 2019-1518: On February 18th, Oceanside RCMP was called to a residence in the 1000 block of Yellowbrick Road, Parksville, with a report on an intoxicated male at the front door. Police found and escorted the inebriated male to their residence a block away to be cared for by a sober adult.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 196 complaints.

1) File 2019-1330: On February 11th, RCMP received a report of a theft of a 2XL black coat, pair of black leather gloves, black toque, prescription glasses and car keys from a building in the 100 block of Hirst Avenue West in Parksville.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 260 complaints.

1) File 2019-1068: On February 3rd, an owner reported two unlocked vehicles had been gone through sometime today at 0030 hrs and 1000 hrs in the 700 block of Humphrey Road, Parksville. Residents are cautioned to keep their vehicles locked.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 243 complaints.

1) File 2019-476: On January 23rd, a bike was found in the area of Hwy 19A and Bennett Rd (near Arrowview Elementary School). It is described as white and blue, girls "Road Master" mountain bike. If yours please contact the Oceanside RCMP to claim.

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 241 complaints.

1) File 2019-476: On January 15th, police received a report of a theft of food from a carport refrigerator in the 600 block of Tranfield Street, Parksville.

1) File 2019-228: On January 7th, a business reported a theft in the 700 block of Island Hwy E, Parksville. Two shoplifters came into the store and stole products from the shelf. One female had blond hair in her 20’s and another female had dark brown hair in her early 30s. The two were seen leaving in a Silver Dodge truck.

1) File 2018-13976: On December 19th an RCMP Officer on patrol observed a vehicle with no head lights on, near the 500 block of Island Hwy 19A, Parksville. The Officer conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle. As the driver was unlicensed, they were served a Prohibition Notice, Vehicle Impoundment and a Violation ticket for not having a valid Driver’s License.

1) File 2018-133615: On December 10th, two culprits parked their vehicle at the end of Coombs Rd in Coombs BC and removed tree boughs from the trees on Island Timberlands (IT) property after accessing the property with an ATV. The removal of the branches costs IT thousands of dollars a year as it strips the tree and the tree will have a hard time growing.
