Oceanside Community Safety Volunteers (Oceanside CSV) is a group of public spirited people who work in partnership with ICBC, the City of Parksville, the Town of Qualicum Beach and the Regional District of Nanaimo to provide public safety and crime prevention information and/or programs to residents of the Oceanside area.
The core of Oceanside CSV's contribution to the community consists of our programs. Please see the Programs link at the top of this page for a complete list of what we provide.
We are members in good standing with the Block Watch Society of British Columbia.
Oceanside Community Safety Volunteers is the amalgamation of District 69 Citizens on Patrol Society, Community Policing Offices of District 69 and District 69 Speed Watch. The founding organizations were established in the 1990’s to engage residents and the Oceanside RCMP.
Oceanside Community Safety Volunteers is a registered not-for-profit organization with BC Registry Services, Incorporation Number S-0035379, and a registered charity with Revenue Canada Agency, BN/Registration Number 867509176RR0001.
We are permitted to issue tax receipts for donations to our organization as per the guidelines of the Canada Revenue Agency.
