Crime Watch Report - April 5 to April 11, 2020

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 190 complaints.

 

1) File 2020-2961: A business beak-and-enter was reported in the 400 block of Wembley Road, Parksville, on April 5th. Damage was estimated to be $1,500 and Chromebook laptop was stolen.

2) File 2020-2966: A wallet, prescription sunglasses, a diver’s watch and a silver ring were some items reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Wembley Road, Parksville, on April 5th. There was no damage to the vehicle.

3) File 2020-2971: A business break-and-enter was reported in the 900 block of Ford Road, Coombs, on April 5th. Three suspects were apprehended on site by Oceanside RCMP.

4) File 2020-2984: A Mariner 9.9 outboard motor was reported stolen from a property in the 100 block of Kinkade Road, Qualicum Beach, on April 6th.

5) File 2020-2989: A grinder and a charger were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Reid Road, Parksville, on April 6th. A suspect was identified and the items recovered.

6) File 2020-3007: Loose change, sunglasses and CDs were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 400 block of Seaward Way, Qualicum Beach, on April 7th.  There was no damage to the vehicle.

7) File 2020-3010: Cash and a purse were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Yambury Road, Qualicum Beach, on April 7th.

8) File 2020-3013: A fence was damaged and a number of 20 lb propane tanks were stolen in a business break-and-enter in the 1200 block of Rath Road, Parksville, on April 7th.

9) File 2020-3025: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Morison Avenue, Parksville, on April 7th. Cost to repair was reported to be $1,200.

10) File 2020-3040: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 1100 block of Butterball Drive, Qualicum Beach, on April 8th.

11) File 2020-3042: A custom ATV trailer valued at $2,900 was reported stolen from a business in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on April 8th.

12) File 2020-3043: A fence was reported damaged during an attempted business break-and-enter in the 500 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on April 8th.

13) File 2020-3044: BC vehicle plate PB8439 was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Industrial Way, Parksville, on April 8th.

14) File 2020-3062: Public mailboxes were reported pried open in the 400 block of Morison Avenue, Parksville, on April 9th.

15) File 2020-3077: A 2016 Yamaha T9.9 LEHB outboard motor was reported stolen in the 1000 Industrial Way, Parksville, on April 9th.

16) File 2020-3099: An Arlo security camera was reported stolen from a property in the 100 block of Corfield Street South, Parksville, on April 10th.

17) File 2020-3103: A business break-and-enter was reported in the 700 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on April 10th.

18) File 2020-3129: Cash and a flashlight were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Church Road, Parksville, on April 11th.

19) File 2020-3131: A fence was reported vandalized in the 200 block of Mcvickers Street, Parksville, on April 11th.

20) File 2020-3133: A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Stanford Avenue West, Parksville, on April 11th.

21) File 2020-3138: Change and credit cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Burnham Road, Qualicum Beach, on April 11th.
