Crime Watch Report - August 21 to 27, 2022

DetectiveDuring this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 260 complaints.

1) File 2022-8169: A vehicle was reported sprayed with graffiti in the 200 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on August 21.

2) File 2022-8171: Tail lights were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Middlegate Road, Errington, on August 21.

3) File 2022-8224: A flat deck trailer with BC plate 90582U was reported stolen on Rainbow Way, Parksville, on August 23.

4) File 2022-8332: A purse containing food was found at a bus stop on Hirst Avenue East, Parksville, on August 23. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

5) File 2022-8255: Two body amour panels were found near Foxtail and Lodgepole Drive, Parksville, on August 24. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

6) File 2022-8268: A red 1997 Dodge Ram 2500 was reported stolen in the 1100 block of Fair road, Parksville, on August 24.

7) File 2022-8279: A red and blue Gucci backpack and contents were reported stolen in the 100 block of Craig Street, Parksville, on August 24. Contents missing were a white mini x speaker, blue Apple iPhone 12 and a white/rose Apple iPhone 8+.

8) File 2022-8284: A black shoulder bag with personal belongings was found in the 100 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on August 24. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

9) File 2022-8301: A vehicle windshield was reported damaged by a thrown rock near Melrose Road, Qualicum Beach, on August 24.

10) File 2022-8308: A brown 2005 Chevrolet Silverado with plate plates RJ9788 was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Leffler Road, Errington, on August 25. 

11) File 2022-8346: Two vehicle batteries were reported stolen in the 1400 block of Springhill road, Parksville, on August 26.

12) File 2022-8358: A silver 2000 Honda 8 HP outboard motor was reported stolen in the 400 block of Dogwood Road, Qualicum Beach, on August 26.

13) File 2022-8371: A nighttime prowler was reported 500 block of Wembley Road, Parksville, on August 26.
