During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 246 complaints.

1) File 2023-733: A green CCM Nitro XT mountain bike was found at Village Way and Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on January 22. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.
2) File 2023-735: Daytime trespassers were reported in the 100 block of Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, on January 22.
3) File 2023-753: Rebar was reported stolen by two males from a construction site in the 600 block of Island Highway East, on January 22.
4) File 2023-755: A suspicious fire causing exterior structural damage to a building was reported in the 200 block of Island highway East, Parksville, on January 22.
5) File 2023-762: Two nighttime trespassers were reported found in the 100 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on January 23.
6) File 2023-765: Change and a wallet were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1800 block of Ballenas Road, Nanoose Bay, on January 23.
7) File 2023-785: A Champion 3500-watt generator was reported stolen in the 2100 block of Errington Road, Errington, on January 23.
8) File 2023-809: Change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Madrona Drive, Nanoose Bay, on January 24.
9) File 2023-846: Three 24” Bonsai plants valued at $8,000 were reported stolen by a male in the 400 block of Yambury Road, Qualicum Beach, on January 25.
10)File 2023-850: A resident was reported scammed out of $3,000 by responding to a text purportedly sent by a relative needing money, on January 25.
11) File 2023-855: An unattended recently filled propane tank valued at $120 was reported stolen in the 1400 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on January 25.
12) File 2023-868: A unattended fire was reported in the back parking lot in the 500 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on January 25.
13) File 2023-800007: A purse was reported stolen from a person in the 100 block of Island Highway East, Parksville, on January 26.
14) File 2023-876: A gate was reported vandalized in the 1700 block of Country Road, Qualicum Beach, on January 26.
15) File 2023-918: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 600 block of Lowrys Road, Parksville on January 27. Vehicle recovered in Nanaimo on February 5th missing both BC plates 7975YV.
16) File 2023-944: A nighttime prowler was reported in the 2800 block of Dolphin Drive, Nanoose Bay, on January 28.
