Crime Watch Report - March 15 to 21, 2020

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 229 complaints.

 

1) File 2020-2369: Fuel was reported siphoned from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Burgoyne Road, Coombs, on March 16th.

2) File 2020-2385: Fuel was reported stolen from a vehicle by drilling a hole in the gas tank in the 600 block of Hoylake Road West, Qualicum Beach, on March 17th.

3) File 2020-2386: A wallet and an iPad were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Troon Close, Qualicum Beach, on March 17th.

4) File 2020-2405: A substation fence was reported damaged near Nile Road, Bowser, on March 17th.

5) File 2020-2417: A “Canopy West” brand canopy was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Cooper Place, Parksville, on March 18th. The canopy was described as champaign coloured with a broken brake light and a fiberglass patch on the driver’s side.

6) File 2020-2425: Two vehicles were reported rummaged through in the 100 block of Sylvan Crescent, Parksville, on March 18th. There was no damage to vehicles.

7) File 2020-2430: A hole was reported cut in a fence in the 1300 block of Winchester Road, Qualicum Beach, on March 18th.

8) File 2020-2458: A vehicle was reported to have been spray painted in the 100 block of Fabrick Drive, Qualicum Beach, on March 19th.

9) File 2020-2463: Change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of McVickers Street, Parksville, on March 19th.

10) File 2020-2466: A black Marty’s Mountain Cycle was reported stolen from a property in the 100 block of Beachside Drive, Parksville, on March 19th.

11) File 2020-2467: Sunglasses valued at $50 were reported stolen from a vehicle with a window down in the 400 block of Stanford Avenue East, on March 19th.

12) File 2020-2473: Vehicle electrical charging station wires were reported damaged in the 700 block of Jones Street, Qualicum Beach, on March 19th.

13) File 2020-2477: Vehicle electrical changing station wires were reported damaged in the 2800 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on March 19th.

14) File 2020-2500: The wall of a storage unit was reported damaged in the 100 block of Finholm Street, Parksville, on March 20th.

15) File 2020-2504: Change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Moilliet Street South, Parksville, on March 20th.

16) File 2020-2518: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 6100 block of Island Highway North, Bowser, on March 20th. An older high school type locker with blue doors and contents were reported stolen.

17) File 2020-2020: A Makita hammer drill, a Dewalt cordless impact drill and cordless circular saw that had red spray paint on them were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Sunrise Drive, Parksville, on March 21st.

18) File 2020-2539: An emergency light was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Eaglecrest Drive, Qualicum Beach, on March 21st
