Crime Watch Report - March 22 to 28, 2020

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 190 complaints.

 

1) File 2020-2564: A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Rheumer Crescent, Parksville, on March 22nd.

2) File 2020-2566: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 3300 block of Fyfe Road, Qualicum Beach, on March 22nd. The vehicle was later recovered.

3) File 2020-2581: A Sony A-63 digital camera, lens , and power cord and grey/brown carrying case was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Allswood Road, Parksville, on March 23rd.

4) File 2020-2583: An unlocked vehicle was stolen in the 800 block of Glenhale Crescent, Parksville, on March 23rd.

5) File 2020-2587: A residential break-and-enter was reported in the 2900 block of Matthew Road, Nanoose Bay, on March 23rd.

6) File 2020-2597: A Claoner 1080p dash cam and a car vacuum were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 800 block of Glenhale Crescent, Parksville, on March 23rd.

7) File 2020-2603: A grey Toyota Yaris, BC plate JD506G, was reported stolen in the 200 block of Jensen Avenue West, Parksville, on March 23rd.

8) File 2020-2617: A bag of miscellaneous tools valued at $1,000 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Acacia Street, Parksville, on March 24th. There was no damage to vehicle.

9) File 2020-2673: Clothing and two pairs of sunglasses were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Widgeon Place, Qualicum Beach, on March 26th.

10) File 2020-2712: A red and black Kawasaki 650 KLR motorcycle was reported stolen from the 200 block of First Avenue West, Qualicum Beach, on March 27th.

11) File 2020-2718: BC plate LM9424 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the Bowser area on March 27th.

12) File 2020-2724: A vehicle was reported to have had the front window and side window broken in the 200 block of Buller Road, Qualicum Beach, on March 27th.

13) File 2020-2732: A child’s wooden red toy wagon was reported stolen from the 300 block of Hirst Avenue, Parksville, on March 28th.

14) File 2020-2733: A black 2018 Mercury 15 HP, 4-stroke, EFI ProKicker, outboard boat motor was reported stolen from a property in the 4100 block of Island Highway West, Dashwood, on March 28th.

15) File 2020-2744: A surveillance camera was reported damaged on a property in the 100 block of Corfield Street South, Parksville, on March 28th. A suspect was identified and charged.
