Crime Watch Report - May 1 to 7, 2022

DetectiveDuring this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 283 complaints.

1) File 2022-3756: A set of golf clubs in a black and green golf bag were found in the 100 block of Finholm Street, Parksville, on May 1. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

2) File 2022-3759: A residential garden hose was reported cut in the 800 block of Sanderson Road, Parksville, on May 1.

3) File 2022-3776: BC plates 199FHB were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 3500 block of Grilse Road, Nanoose Bay, on May 1.

4) File 2022-3787: Property was reported stolen from a business compound in the 400 block of Hirst Avenue, Parksville, on May 2.

5) File 2022-3794: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Highway 19 Exit 46 ramp, Parksville, on May 2.

6) File 2022-3800: A grey 2004 EZ load utility trailer, BC plate WKS30B, was reported stolen in the 1200 block of Kopernick Road, Errington, on May 2.

7) File 2022-3807: BC plate 29034J was reported missing from an utility trailer in the 1400 block of Huntley road, Parksville, on May 2.

8) File 2022-3828: A Marvel Universe shopping bag with contents were reported found in the 100 block of Weld Street, Parksville on May 2. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

9) File 2022-3841: A vehicle was reported stolen in the 200 block of Allsbrook road, Parksville on May 3rd. The vehicle was recovered the same day.

10) File 2022-3848: An iPhone 12 or 13 with a Poetic case was found in Parksville on May 3. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

11) File 2022-3850: A black Quinney child stroller was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Stanford Avenue East, Parksville, on May 3

12) File 2022-3858: BC plate CM3783 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on May 3.

13) File 2022-3860: BC plate WFE36K was reported missing from a utility trailer in the 1000 block of Ganske Road, Qualicum Beach, on May 3.

14) File 2022-800059: BC plate RL7986 was reported missing from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Blueback Drive, Nanoose Bay, on May 3.

15) File 2022-3883: A vehicle window was reported smashed and a bag full of tools valued at $5,000 was reported stolen in the area of Northwest Bay Road and Island Highway East, on May 4.

16) File 2022-3892: Graffiti was reported sprayed on a fence in 600 block of Berwick Road South, Qualicum Beach, on May 4. 

17) File 2022-3917: A vehicle was reported vandalized in the 2900 block of Radke Place, Qualicum Beach, on May 4. Wipers were noted bent and vehicle keyed.

18) File 2022-3967: A prowler was reported in the 900 block of Fisherman Circle, Parksville, on May 6.

19) File 2022-3968: A vehicle was reported vandalized with damage to the exhaust system in the 1000 block of Bellevue Road, Parksville, on May 6.

20) File 2022-3970: A new custom Aluminium Dump Trailer valued at $12,500 was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville on May 6. Video showing two males was provided to RCMP.
