Crime Watch Report - November 22 to 28, 2021

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 245 complaints.

 

1) File 2021-12302: The Community Garden was reported vandalized in the 200 block of McVickers Street, Parksville, on November 22. Noted damaged was a fence and winter vegetables.

2) File 2021-12309: Change was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Wheler Avenue, Parksville, on November 22.

3) File 2021-12313: Two fence ornaments were reported vandalized in the 1300 block of Carmel Place, Nanoose Bay, on November 22.

4) File 2021-12316: A propane camp stove was reported stolen from a storage locker in the 1500 block of Pady Place, Qualicum Beach, on November 22. 

5) File 2021-12330: A prowler was reported in the 1800 block of Claudet Road, Nanoose Bay, on November 22. 

6) File 2021-12383: An electronic sign was reported vandalized in the 300 block of Pym Street North, Parksville, on November 24.

7) File 2021-800212: BC plate JT236T was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of McMillan Street, Parksville, on November 24.

8) File 2021-12418: A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the area of Memorial Ave and Alberni Highway pull out, Qualicum Beach, on November 25. 

9) File 2021-A black and red Briggs Stratton power washer and a red gas can were reported stolen from a secured storage shed in the 100 block of Hoylake Road, Qualicum Beach, on November 25.

10) File 2021-12454: A break-and-enter was reported in the 100 block of Shelley Road, Parksville, on November 26. Noted missing was an Epson projector and damage reported to a number of doors.

11) File 2021-12456: An ornamental iron gate with a distinctive spider web design was reported stolen in the 900 block of Ford Road, Coombs, on November 26.

12) File 2021-12459: An electric crimping tool, wiring and aviation parts were reported stolen form an unlocked vehicle in the 200 block of Corfield Street, Parkville, on November 26. 

13) File 2021-12460: A vehicle was reported entered and contents moved around in the 400 block of Stanford Avenue East, Parksville on November 26.

14) File 2021-12468: The fuel tank was drilled and contents were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Pym Street, Parksville, on November 26.

15) File 2021-12500: A hot water tank was reported stolen during a residential break-and-enter in the 900 block of Allenby Road, Parksville, on November 27.A secured door was breached and power was turned off.

16) File 2021-12503: A secured black mountain bike with blue “Specialized” lettering was reported stolen from an underground parkade in the 300 block of Morison Avenue, Parksville, on November 27.

17) File 2021-12504: A validation sticker was reported stolen from a vehicle plate in the 300 block of Craig Street, Parksville, on November 27.

18) File 2021-12420: Damage was reported to community playfields in the 2800 block of Northwest Bay Road, Nanoose Bay, on November 27th. RCMP were able to detain two individuals upon arrival.

19) File 2021-800215: BC plate PN273H was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Resort Drive, Parksville, on November 28.
