During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 248 complaints. 

 

1) File 2021-11333: A bird bath and sunflower light were reported stolen in the 100 block of Ponderosa Drive, Parksville, on October 24.

2) File 2021-11335: A Halloween Gargoyle statue was reported stolen in the 600 block of Sandalwood Drive, Parksville, on October 24.

3) File 2021-11337: A red Honda 2000 generator was reported stolen in the 100 block of Hamilton Avenue, Parksville, on October 24.

4) File 2021-900196: A large brown wicker chair, a plastic lawn chair and two pink cushions were reported stolen in the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Parksville, on October 24.

5) File 2021-11355: A Canada Post box was reported tagged with graffiti in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on October 24. A subject was identified and charged.

6) File 2021-11364: A door to a water pump house was reported in the 900 block of Fairdowne Road, Parksville, on October 25.

7) File 2021-11369: A wooden desk was reported dumped in the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Parksville, on October 25.

8) File 2021-11375: Change was stolen and approximately $50 damage was reported to an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of Resort Drive, Parksville, on October 25.

9) File 2021-11376: A vehicle was reported vandalized with paint in the 1600 block of Nahmint Road, Qualicum Beach, on October 25.

10) File 2021-11383: A business bathroom was reported vandalized in the 100 block of Memorial Avenue, Parksville, on October 25.

11) File 2021-11386: A vintage blue Apollo brand bicycle was found in the 400 block of Willow Road, Qualicum Beach, on October 25. Contact Oceanside RCMP during regular business hours to claim.

12) File 2021-11408: Multiple bags of recycled bottles were reported stolen in the 1300 block of Errington Road, Errington, on October 26. Damages was also reported to a property fence.

13) File 2021-800198: A door panel and rear tail lights were reported damaged on a commercial vehicle in the 1300 block of Parkhurst Place, Parksville, on October 26.

14) File 2021-11432: A grey leather wallet and insurance papers were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of McCarter Street, Parksville, on October 26.

15) File 2021-11437: Ball field dugouts were reported vandalized with graffiti in the 400 block of Despard Avenue West, Parksville, on October 27.

16) File 2021-11445: A 5-foot by 4-foot beige with black top bin used for storing recycled bottles was reported stolen in the 100 block of Second Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on October 27.

17) File 2021-11449: A flagpole and flag were reported stolen in the 200 block of Chestnut Street, Parksville, on October 27.

18) File 2021-11462: Graffiti was reported sprayed on two markers to the public beach in the area of Henry Morgan Drive and Maple Guard Drive, Bowser, on October 27.

19) File 2021-11467: Two trespassers on quads were reported in the 800 block of Drew Road, Parksville, on October 27.

20) File 2021-11487: A new silver 4 x 3 custom aluminum utility trailer was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Alberni Highway, Parksville, on October 28. A securing chain was noted cut.

21) File 2021-11493: A vehicle was reported vandalized by putting silicone into the charging port in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area, on October 28.

22) File 2021-11511: A Milwaukee 18-volt battery operated chainsaw and a socket set combined valued at $500 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of Park View Avenue, Parksville, on October 29.

23) File 2021- 11517: A silver Zektor 2 15-speed bicycle was reported stolen in the 300 block of Crescent Road East, Qualicum Beach, on October 29.

24) File 2021-11542: A dumpster fire was reported in the area of Craig Street and Hirst Avenue, Parksville, on October 30.

25) File 2021-11545: Insurance papers and personal papers were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of Wallis Street, Parksville, on October 30.
