Crime Watch Report - October 27 to November 2, 2019

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 276 complaints.

 

1) File 2019-11778: The theft of a delivered package to a residence in the 1800 block of Galvin Place, Qualicum Beach, was reported on October 27th.

2) File 2019-11796: A storage container in the 2400 block of Collins Crescent, Nanoose Bay, was reported broken into on October 27th.  Property valued at $800 was reported taken.

3) File 2019-11807: The lock of a public mailbox was damaged in the 1300 block of Coldwater Road, Parksville, was reported on October 28th. Entry was not gained.

4) File 2019-11810: A white and red Rocky Mountain brand bike was reported stolen from an unlocked truck in the 800 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on October 28th.

5) File 2019-11834: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 300 block of Morrison Avenue, Parksville, on October 28th.

6) File 2019-11840: Insurance papers were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Kasba Circle, Parksville, on October 28th.

7) File 2019-11847: A Break and Enter as well as theft of mail from a building in the 500 Stanford Avenue East, Parksville, on October 29th.

8) File 2019-11868: A purse containing credit cards and other personal items was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Yambury Road, Qualicum Beach, on October 29th.

9) File 2019-11900: An Eddie Bauer white down jacket was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 300 block of Wisteria Street, Parksville, on October 31st.

10) File 2019-11906: A green Windriver zippered hoodie was reported stolen from a car port in the 600 block of Brice Avenue, Parksville, on October 31st.

11) File 2019-11939: A gate lock and a vehicle was reported damaged on a property in the 800 block of Allsbrook Road, Parksville, on November 1st.

12) File 2019-11960: Lawn furniture was reported stolen from a property in the 600 block of Neden Way, Parksville, on November 1st.

13) File 2019-11978: A counterfeit Canadian $50 was attempted to be used at a business in the 300 block of Island Highway West, Parksville, on November 1st.  An employee recognized the forgery and advised management.

14) File 2019-12002: A counterfeit Canadian $100 was attempted to be used at a business in the 800 block of Island highway West, Parksville, on November 2nd.

15) File 2019-12011: A BC licence plate DH847M was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Hilliers Road North, Qualicum Beach, on November 2nd.
