Crime Watch Report - September 15 to 21, 2019

During this time period the Oceanside RCMP received 270 complaints.

 

1) File 2019-10222: A white Corona bicycle with custom PUP H2O holder, PRP grips and valued at $500 was reported stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Village Way, Qualicum Beach, on September 15th.

2) File 2019-10252: Gift cards were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Ashcroft Place, Parksville, on September 16th.

3) File 2019-10253: Two vehicles were reported rummaged through in the 800 block of Aberdeen Drive, Parksville, on September 16th. Nothing reported damaged or stolen.

4) File 2019-10258: Two Stealth Cam trail cams were reported stolen from Outrigger Road and Dolphin Drive, Nanoose Bay, on September 16th.

5) File 2019-10261: A thief was reported to have removed a wallet and cell phone from an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Philips Street on September 16th.

6) File 2019-10265: A vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 800 block of Aberdeen Drive, Parksville, on September 16th.

7) File 2019-10267: A mail box was reported broken into in the 2300 block of Andover Road, Nanoose Bay, on
September 16th.

8) File 2019-10269: Unlocked vehicles were reported to have been rummaged through in the 800 block of Temple Street, Parksville, on September 16th.  Nothing was reported stolen.

9) File 2019-10271: An electronic scale was found in the 200 block of McVickers Street, Parksville and turned into Oceanside RCMP on September 16th.

10) File 2019-10274: A vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 700 block of Phillips Street, Parksville, on September 16th. Nothing was reported stolen.

11) File 2019-10297: A vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 5200 block of Island Highway West, Qualicum Beach, on September 17th.  Nothing was reported stolen.

12) File 2019-10318: A local resident reported an abandoned vehicle on Horne Lake Road that turned out to have been stolen from Campbell River earlier on September 17th.

13) File 2019-10339: A residence was unlawfully entered on 1700 block of Admiral Tryon Blvd, Nanoose Bay, on September 18th. Several thousand dollars’ worth of tools were reported stolen

14) File 2019-10338:  A male was reported stealing parts from a vehicle used for training purposes in the 200 block of Hobbs Road, Qualicum Beach, on September 18th.

15) File 2019-10341: A Dewalt 20V power tool, Sawzall cordless drill were among items reported stolen from a vehicle in the 500 block of Juniper Drive, Qualicum Beach, on September 18th. The owner’s name was written on the stolen items.

16) File 2019-10342: A resident in the 600 block of Ashcroft Place, Parksville, reported a person checking door handles on September 18th. Video has been turned over to the RCMP.

17) File 2019-10355: An unlocked vehicle was reported rummaged through in the 5100 block of Thompson Clarke Drive West, Bowser, on September 18th.

18) File 2019-10376: Black sunglasses, a lug nut and a lighter were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of Valdez Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on September 19th. Entry might have been gained through windows that were left down.

19) File 2019-10418: A wallet was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of Soriel Road, Parksville, on September 20th.

20) File 2019-10421: A BC trailer plate UDY86A was reported stolen from a property in the 1100 block of Lee Road East, Parksville, on September 20th.

21)File 2019-10459: Graffiti was sprayed on a public building in the 100 block of Jensen Avenue East, Parksville, as reported on September 21st. A male and a female have been captured on surveillance cameras.
